Check it off your bucket list!
This half day loop can be part of your Aurora viewing package and is ideal for anyone who wants to experience dogsledding in a nice bite-size. The experienced mushers with their friendly dogs pick you up at the Lodge and take you for a ride on a part of the vast, 100km long Tagish Lake - enjoy the views as a sled passengers or get hands-on and stand on the runners beside the musher, driving the team through the winter landscape. Who knows, maybe you'll even see a lynx walking along the shore while you ride along quietly and peacefully....
This tour can be booked as part of a multi-day stay at Tagish Wilderness Lodge, for example to spice up your day after a night of Northern Lights watching with our Wilderness Aurora Viewing.
For stand-alone dog sledding tours with Michelle Phillips, starting at her kennel in Tagish, please contact her directly - +1 (867) 332 2768.
