Terms & Conditions

Please read carefully:

A customer must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a program offered by Yukon Winter Adventures. By purchasing a package sold by Yukon Winter Adventure, the customer acknowledges the terms and conditions stated here below and agrees that all information provided by him/herself is accurate (passenger names, information on health forms etc.).

Booking procedure:

  • We are able to hold a cabin for your date and at your property of choice for up to 7 days so you can complete your travel planning
  • Once you decide to book, we will need the names of all travel parties and your address 
  • You will receive a booking confirmation/invoice from Yukon Winter Adventures
  • When you receive our invoice, a deposit is due in order to guarantee your reservation
  • You will be sent a health information form, which serves us to arrange the righ winter clothing and helpes your guides to set the right level of acivity. Also, due to the remoteness of some places, any other health issues and dietary requirements will need to be communicated prior to arrival
  • Some partners require the signing of a waiver beforehand, others will ask you to sign one prior to engaging in one of their activities. Thank you for your understanding. 

Booking deposit & method of payment:
At time of booking, 20% of the total invoice amount or CA$ 500.00 – whichever is higher - is due to guarantee your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable. The remaining amount must be paid latest 60 days prior to arrival. For short-term bookings (less than 60 days of arrival), the total amount is due upon confirmation. The deposit may be paid by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Amex), the remainder is due by bank transfer or credit card. Credit card payments are settled via e-invoice of Square Inc. Banking details will be provided upon request.

Cancellation policy:
Up to 90 days before arrival: 20% or CA$ 500.00 (whichever is higher) of the total booking amount
89 - 30 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount will be charged
29 - 0 days before arrival: 100% of the total amount will be charged

Passport- and Visa requirements:
All participants of tours and programs sold by Yukon Winter Adventures are required to hold valid documents of identification and/or a valid visa of Canada. No refunds will be made due to invalid documents resulting in refusal of entry into Canada.

We highly recommend insurance of cancellation costs and liability as well as for personal health, accidents and emergency evacuation. Should an evacuation from a remote wilderness location become necessary during the trip/tour or package, the participant will have to bear the costs incurring from this. Participants are responsible for their own insurance coverage.

Force Majeure:
In the case Yukon Winter Adventures cannot operate the confirmed touring program for its clients or operate those services under its normal capacity due to reasons considered to be beyond its reasonable control, Yukon Winter Adventures nor shall its guests be in default. These reasons or situations may include but are certainly not limited to, natural disasters, bankruptcy of the company or a supplier, public strikes or labor disturbances, acts of war, acts of God, civil disturbances or other comparing events. Compensation claims for cancelled programs are not possible. Wherever suitable, Yukon Winter Adventures tries to offer a suitable alternative to the program cancelled. Any incurring costs for alternative programs will be divided among participants.

Yukon Winter Adventures acts as intermediary between the concerned airlines, hotels, transport-operators and local suppliers and operators who provide the services. Yukon Winter Adventures can therefore not be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by tourists. This includes those having occurred outside the company’s touring programs. Yukon Winter Adventures is not responsible for the acts or omissions of its partners and suppliers (hotels, airlines, ground operators and other service suppliers).
The tour programs, prices, services and conditions under the company’s terms and conditions are valid at the time of confirmation of a tour program. The tour programs, prices, services and conditions are subject to change without prior notice before or during a tour, only if Force Majeure or Government actions have affected the operations and pricing.
